This Kala is a solid performer with a great Shadow nanoflex pickup with EQ with tone and volume control.

The solid spruce top with mahogany back and sides gives clarity and a balanced tone. The solid spruce topped Kalas are our favourites in the Kala range.

The neck is nice and slim and the fretboard nicely set up. This uke is very easy to play and tenor sized ukes give you lots of room on the fretboard and with the cutaway lots of frets for solos.

Plugged in this uke will satisfy performers and at this price it is a great performer.

The standard strings are GHS, which are fine, but if you like a more punchy sound, we recommend you consider purchasing some Aquila strings as well. If you like we can restring this uke with those strings at no extra charge. Just drop us a line after you have purchased the items.
