The Mi-Si Acoustic Trio system features an active, battery-free preamp designed specifically to work with the L.R. Baggs Element undersaddle acoustic pickup. Although billed as a guitar pickup this pickup works very well on ukuleles and you will find these LG Baggs pickups in many high-end ukuleles.

The preamp for this system uses Mi-Si's custom piezo linearization scheme - allowing for the most truthful and accurate sound from the pickup.

Out put is amazing; when you are running your uke on 1 in the PA, others will have to be on 8. The balance between the individual strings is very good too, something that is hard to achieve on ukuleles.

All you have to do is power up for 60 seconds using the Mi-Si Power Charger by plugging it into the jack output, and you get up to 16 hours of performance time. You will never have to worry about batteries again, and do your bit to save the environment.
